Alden Mechanical is proud of our longstanding reputation for dependability and a solid commitment to excellence. As Alden Plumbing LLC for many years, and now dba Alden Mechanical, we have built a wonderful base of satisfied return customers we consider friends. As a family business we pride ourselves in creating great customer and employee relationships.
We maintain general contracting and plumbing licenses and provide plumbing and HVAC design/build, installation, repair and services. Our experienced estimators, technicians, project managers, field workers and shop fabricators are well versed in theories, principle and practice of cost estimating, construction methods, problem solving, local, state and federal standard specifications & procedures. We have a wide range of experience in completing public works projects ranging from $100,000 to $5,000,000 per job. As a small town company we also honor our roots and love to keep generations of residential customers taken care of when they need a diagnoses or repair. We also understand the value of hiring geographically local subs/suppliers and laborers in small towns and rural areas and enjoy supporting those communities.
Some of our specialties are steam & hot water heat, boilers, chillers, hydronic and/or stainless piping, water heaters and all sizes of HVAC units and ventilation systems, domestic and utility piping, fire lines, welding, med gas, acid waste and much more. We have added an HVAC fabrication facility to create more in-house material supply, as well as supply the surrounding community with sheet metal products. Alden Mechanical has experience working with a diverse range of projects, customers and funding entities - from plumbing on state college buildings and private hospitals, restaurants, office buildings and wineries, to tribal or BPA funded housing, fish hatchery, and community centers, to federal, state, and locally funded municipal airport buildings, production and manufacturing facilities.
Our staff is highly trained and maintains multiple licenses, certifications, bonding, and public works bonds in 3 states. These include all residential & commercial journeyman plumber licensing, septic installation, fire line installation, med gas installation, boiler & pressure vessel install, ASHE health care construction certifications, indoor air quality, EPA refrigerant certifications, preventative maintenance certs - to name a few.
We typically keep 45 – 50 employees, many of whom have been with us for years. We feel passionately about recruiting and providing young people with the opportunity to join apprentice programs, support their education, and train them for Journeyman certifications. As a Native American, Kristina also facilitates promoting these opportunities to tribal members and has several successful apprentice and graduate members still on staff.
